Community Partnerships

After much planning and patience through the design and construction process, the Falmouth Service Center has been thrilled to open its new Community Partner shared office spaces. With three new offices, we have been able to host representatives from the Housing Assistance Corporation, The Immigration Resource Center and the MassHealth Navigators of the Community Action Committee of Cape and Islands, and WE CAN legal and financial counseling services. We are also using the spaces to assist clients with Heating and Energy Assistance Program applications and have invited representatives from Falmouth Human Services, the Falmouth Senior Center and the Coalition for Children to meet with clients. This is a wonderful opportunity for FSC clients to reach other community resources while they are already here selecting food from the food pantry.

Fresh Produce

As the days get longer and we feel the approach of spring, we eagerly wait for our first deliveries of donated produce from our farming neighbors. Our clients especially appreciate the abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables donated by Farming Falmouth, Tony Andrews Farm, the Falmouth Farmer’s Market, Pariah Dog Farm, the Friendship Garden, Bogside Farm, the Master Gardeners, Falmouth High School and our many generous gardening neighbors. Last year the farming and gardening community donated nearly seven tons of fresh produce, wow!
