FSC Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Falmouth Service Center have come together to support the mission of the Falmouth Service Center. Through their work on the Board and out in the greater Falmouth community, they support and promote our mission which is to ease stress, reduce hunger and improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need.

Bob Antonucci
Bob is President-Emeritus of FItchburg State University where he served as its' 10th President for twelve years. He previously served as Massachusetts’s Commissioner of Education, Superintendent of Schools in Falmouth, and President of Harcourt Higher Education. Bob serves on the Falmouth Road Race, Inc. Board of Directors, the Board of Unitil Corporation and is a Falmouth Town Meeting member. He is chair of the Governance Committee.

Paul Berlinguet
Paul retired as Vice President and Head of Equity Client Portfolio Management at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Prior to that role he was a Managing Director and Head of Growth Fund Investments with Columbia Management. Paul has always believed in giving back to the community and had been a long time volunteer for the Interfaith Food Pantry and The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery programs in Hingham MA before moving to Falmouth in 2018. He has been involved as a volunteer at the Hand In Hand Thrift shop coordinating furniture pick up and sales. Paul is Vice President of our board and serves as co-chair of our Strategic Planning Committee.

Larry Bigelow
Larry has retired as the Senior Vice President in the Non Profit & Healthcare Division of Citizens Bank, developing new banking relationships with non-profits throughout Northern New England. Larry has served on the Boards of several non-profits and he currently is a member of the Cape & Islands United Way Board. Larry is the Treasurer of the board and a member of the FSC Finance Committee.

Rev. Nell Fields
Nell serves as the minister of the Waquoit Congregational Church in East Falmouth. She is active in a number of organizations in the community including No Place for Hate-Falmouth, Falmouth Clergy Association, and the Upper Cape Interfaith Alliance. She serves on the Cape Cod Association’s Scholarship committee, and on the board of directors for Neighborhood Falmouth. Nell previously held senior management positions in publishing and marketing. Nell is the Clerk of the board and serves as the chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Eric Husebo
Eric moved to Falmouth permanently after retiring in 2017 as an engineering executive from the Washington DC area where he co-founded a government services firm and ran their National Security organization. He has volunteered at the Falmouth Service Center ever since and is very active in several FSC initiatives including the Joint Base Cape Cod and Falmouth Public Schools Fresh Market programs. He also volunteers weekly at FSC’s Hand in hand Thrift Shop. Additionally, he is very active with other non-profit boards in the local area including Cape Cod HELP which loans durable medical equipment (free of charge) to people in need and the Friends of the Cape Cod Vet Center which offers support to the 17,000+ veterans living on the Cape and Islands. Eric serves on the Finance and the Development Committees of FSC.

Brian Keck
Brian is a retired consumer packaged goods and retail senior executive. Prior to moving to Falmouth in 2015, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for ConAgra Foods, and previously, was President and Chief Operating Officer for Macy's Midwest division. Brian has been a lifelong active volunteer and a board member for several non-profits, including serving on the Falmouth Fund Grant Committee. Brian is the President of the Board and Chair of our Thrift Shop Committee. He is also the co-chair of our Strategic Planning Committee.

The Rev. W. (Will) H. Mebane, Jr.
Will is currently rector and priest at Saint Barnabas's Memorial Episcopal Church. He serves on the board of directors of the Community Health Center of Cape Cod. Will co-produces and co-hosts "THE Conversation", a monthly television show on Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) that addresses issues of race and racism. He most recently served as vice chair of The Episcopal Peace Fellowship and is now chair of the Economic Justice Loan Committee of The Episcopal Church worldwide. Will serves on the Development Committee of FSC and on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

Dr. Dana Mohler-Faria
Dr. Dana Mohler-Faria served as the 11th President of Bridgewater State University from July, 2002 to July, 2015. Prior to becoming president, Dr. Mohler-Faria served for 11 years as Bridgewater State University’s vice president for administration and finance. In addition to his work as president of BSU, Dr. Mohler-Faria served concurrently for eighteen months, from January, 2007 to June, 2008 as Governor Deval Patrick’s special advisor for education. He has also held numerous senior administrative positions at Mount Wachusett Community College, Bristol Community College and Cape Cod Community College, serving in public higher education in the Commonwealth for more than forty years.

He currently serves on numerous public and private boards. Dr. Mohler-Faria is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts and currently resides in Mashpee with his wife, Kathy. Dana serves on our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and our Finance Committee.

Pauline Neves
Pauline is a senior consultant with Harrington Management International with a specialty in nonprofit fundraising and is passionate about helping nonprofits achieve their missions. She is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) and also holds a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Institute of Nonprofit Practice/Tufts University. An involved member of the philanthropy professional community, Pauline is a former board member and past president of Philanthropy Partners of the Cape & Islands and a past co-chair of Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod, she is also currently on the board of the Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre. Pauline is the Chair of our Development Committee of FSC and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee.

Ronald Nunes
Ron moved to Falmouth in 2010 after 28 years in technical research and development at IBM. He has been volunteering at the Falmouth Service Center since 2011, where his focus has been on the presentation of fresh fruits and vegetables for clients. He implemented the metal recycling program at the Hand in hand Thrift Shop in July 2018. Ron also volunteers at Cotuit Center for the Arts, Woods Hole Folk Music Society and Coonamessett Farm, where he serves on the board of the Coonamessett Farm Foundation. Ron serves on the Thrift Shop and Facilities Committees of FSC.

Jamie Parker
Jamie is a volunteer at our Hand in hand Thrift Shop. She has held numerous management roles in her career, most recently as chief operating officer of Greenough, a full-service marketing agency, where she counseled and developed marketing and communication programs for mission-based organizations. Prior to this, Jamie was chief marketing officer for WGBH Boston, and the general manager of Weber Shandwick Cambridge. Jamie has helped numerous mission-based organizations achieve the recognition they deserve, including Bridgewell, Lovin’ Spoonfuls, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Tufts University. She has previously volunteered at the Newton Food Pantry and Boston’s Celebrity Series. Jamie serves on our Development Committee.

Anne Pickart
Anne is a longtime FSC volunteer. She started by working at the front desk during the winter months, the off-season of her work as a landscape gardener. She now does data entry twice a week and is a co-coordinator of the children’s holiday program. She raised her five children in Falmouth, volunteering regularly in their schools and other youth programs. Anne founded Falmouth Girls Youth Lacrosse, aka Falmouth Flash, served as president and enjoyed coaching for over 15 years. Under her tenure the program grew to support five teams of girls in grades 3-8. Anne serves on the Facilities and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committees of FSC.

David Prosten
David has been a volunteer at the Service Center since 2015. During that time he has proven himself in a wide variety of settings starting from the warehouse and pantry to the Joint Base Initiative. He spear-headed the effort to bring pet food to those clients with pets. He began his career as a reporter. At one time he was a writer and editor of a national news service. He founded and ran a small publishing house for 30 years. He is a long-time member of Sierra Club. As a member of the Executive Committee of the Maryland Chapter he led many campaigns focused on environmental issues. David serves on the Executive Committee.

Richard Sperduto
Richard Sperduto lives in Mashpee but spends his working hours working in Falmouth where he serves as facility manager at Falmouth Academy, a position he has held since 1989. In this capacity he is responsible for buildings, grounds, vehicles, maintenance of athletic fields, repairs and improvements. In addition, he teaches classes at the Academy in farm and garden arts and woodworking. He has served as a member of the 300 Committee Land Management board, the town of Falmouth’s Land Management committee and the Town of Falmouth Waste Management advisory committee. In 2008 he was recognized as an Environment Champion award from the Association to Preserve Cape Cod. Richard is the Chair of the Facilities Management Committee on the Board.

Dianne Wells
Dianne is an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in a family practice in Mashpee. She is well-respected in the medical community and active in the recovery community. She has volunteered for the Service Center as part of their Falmouth Eats Together program. Dianne previously worked and lived in Washington DC for twelve years prior to moving back to the Cape in 1992.

Brenda Swain
Executive Director Emeritus
Brenda has recently retired as the Executive Director of the Falmouth Service Center, after serving in the role since 2002. She had previously been employed with three organizations that support low income and moderate income households struggling to live here on Cape Cod. As a Pre-School and Head Start Director with Cape Cod Child Development and a Coordinator with a Community Partnership Grant Program, she spent twenty years creating partnerships with many agencies. Brenda also serves on the Advisory Board of the Falmouth Senior Center and is involved in many other non-profits. She lives in Falmouth with her family.
