A Message from FSC’s Director: Spring 2026

Growing Hope Together

At the Falmouth Service Center, we spend much of our time focused on the logistics of fighting hunger: distributing fresh produce and meat; packing clients’ grocery orders, and ensuring families get the healthy, nutritious food they need. Over the last several months, that has been more challenging with multiple storms, a blizzard, and long freezing cold winter days leaving snow on the ground for weeks, making receiving our food and then distributing it to families more difficult.

We are so ready for Spring! Spring is a season of renewal and growth and it serves as a reminder of the hope we aim to plant in our community every single day. Just as a garden requires more than just seeds to thrive, our mission requires a dedicated ecosystem to succeed.

We are profoundly aware that our work only flourishes because of the incredible community standing behind us:

  • Our Donors: Your financial and food donations are the nutrients our programs need. Because of you, we can source fresh, local produce and keep our shelves stocked every week and throughout the year.

  • Our Volunteers: You are the sunshine of our operation. Whether you’re part of our food distribution program or our thrift shop, you are greeting neighbors with a warm smile and your energy, time, and compassion bring our mission to life.

  • Our Clients: We are deeply grateful for the trust our neighbors place in us. Their resilience is the ultimate sign of strength, reminding us that even after the hardest winters, growth is always possible.

We are full of gratitude this spring for all of you.

When you donate to FSC, you aren’t just providing a bag of groceries; you are providing hope and the peace of mind that allows a family to look forward to tomorrow. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us grow a stronger, healthier community.
