My journey to the Falmouth Service Center is rooted in a deep connection to people, culture, and education. Born in Massachusetts and raised between Brazil and the US, I grew up experiencing different cultures, languages, and perspectives that shaped my understanding of belonging and community. I recently joined the FSC team, bringing a background in psychology, education, and community advocacy. In Brazil, I worked as a therapist and educator, supporting individuals’ personal growth while helping students develop emotional intelligence, vocational skills, and language abilities. For the past decade, I have worked in the nonprofit sector, including leadership at the largest human services agency on Martha’s Vineyard, where I directed a Family Resource Center serving families and youth, supervised staff, and developed culturally specific initiatives. Living and working in Brazil, South Florida, Cape Cod, and the Islands has given me a unique perspective on cultural identity, inclusion, and authentic community support. I am grateful to bring my holistic experiences to FSC and work alongside a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who believe in the power of collective awareness and community wellbeing.
