Falmouth Service Center Update
We are finished!
The fundraising goal for this campaign was originally $750,000. The Board of Directors had authorized use of reserve funds to cover $1 million of the projected $1,750,000 in construction costs. In the near future, we anticipate the need for our services to grow due to the expected impact that cuts to federal programs will have on our clients (eg. SNAP, Medicaid, etc). Therefore, the Board has asked us to raise $1 million for our capital campaign and they will plan to utilize $750,000 from reserve funds, allowing other reserves to be used to offset any general operating costs we may encounter due to an increase in demand for our services.
As of September 1, 2025, we have received $900,000 in donations and pledges. We are so grateful for the many individuals, businesses and foundations who have supported this campaign to date.
In summary, we added 2,200 square feet to the building addressing space limitations and allowing for additional growth, as follows:
A year-round clothing room will be available to all registered clients giving them access to a wide range of free clothing and household goods. Clients find this program to be invaluable.
Community partners will resume or expand on-site services to mutual clients, including fuel assistance applications, health and wellness programs, legal and financial empowerment consultations by utilizing new offices on the second floor.
500 square feet of warehouse space will be reclaimed for additional food storage.
The new meeting spaces on the second floor that community partners will be using to meet with our clients.
THANK YOU!
We are grateful for all the donations to this campaign. We could not have completed this project without your support.
